Werner's Blog — Opinion, Analysis, Commentary

A message from all the peace-loving people around the world, including the many Russians who were protesting bravely and peacefully against the war of aggression against Ukraine and were arrested for expressing their views, to Russia's leadership:

When injustice and violence is pepetrated, nobody can stay silent. To quote Martin Luther King Jr.: “There comes a time when silence is betrayal.” And to the governments of China and India, both abstaining in today's UN Security Council resolution condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine: remember this quote from the late Desmond Tutu: “If you are neutral in situations of injustice you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”

In solidarity with the beleaguered people of Ukraine
